Stage 2 Once the client is satisfied with the general direction and message the script portrays then we move onto planning the location of the shoot. Also what video format to shoot on depending on the final purpose of the video, e.g. DVD, Streaming over the net etc.

Mini-DV. A domestic digital video tape recording system. This system is the cheapest way of obtaining a good quality corporate video production. The tape media itself is cheap as are the cameras, although this system is used is corporate video production we personally feel that DVCAM is a better option due to its reliability and use of professional tape media.

DVCAM. This video format is the professional version of Mini-DV which is a small video tape which is used in the majority of of domestic video cameras. The main difference with DV-CAM is that the pitch width on the video tape is wider, which results in the tape running faster providing a better and more stable picture.

Digital Beta cam. This video system utilises a very high quality video tape based system which uses very low digital compression and component recording to achieve a broadcast quality picture. This video system is primary used for Television productions.
