Case study:

In 2003 VIP where asked to make a video documentary showing a 3 day Psychic weekend at a holiday camp in Seaton Devon.

The weekend involved many different people from the spiritualist world. They ranged from Physic artistes to Faith healers. A coach was organised to take the clients from London to Seaton.

The video documentary started with showing people arriving by coach at the camp. Our video camera crew and presenter Emma Boardman interviewed the clients to find out why they attended the weekend.

During the video documentary our video camera crews filmed many different events during the weekend from crystal reading to past life regressions.

 

The Seaton documentary was filmed using the Sony PD150 video camera. This camera is ideal for documentary video production due to its small size and point and shoot capabilities. Helpful Hint: DVCAM footage shot on a Sony PD150 is accepted as a broadcast video format by nearly all Television companies. VIP now use the Sony HVR-Z1E video camera due to it being a simliar size but it can shoot in 16:9 wide screen.

Video post production.

The final DVCAM footage was edited using our broadcast video editing suites. During the video editing process music, graphics and the voice over where added. Once the documentary video was edited we then produced a DVD production for the client.
