This is just to confirm receipt of the DVDs from reels and many thanks. I have to say I was absolutely delighted with the DVDs which took me back to events of more than thirty years ago and I was especially amazed at the clarity of the colour after all that time. Steve, I want to say how pleased I am with your digitisation of my home movies. Some reels were nearly 40 years old, so some fading was inevitable, yet they display better than the original - mainly due to the total absence of flicker and the even exposure over the whole frame.
Many thanks for your work - I now have many hours of work to edit, title and superimpose a sound track on my movies, but after that I have another batch of more recent film (only 20-27 years old!) which I will send you.
