Productions provide 3 packages

The
3 main video camera formats that we provide are
MINIDV, DVCAM, and DIGITAL BETACAM.
MINIDV:
Although Mini DV can be used for Broadcast video
camera crew purposes this video format tends to
be employed for corporate video production
and documentary produced on a tight budget.
DVCAM:
This video production format is the professional
version of Minidv. The video tape is very similar
to Mini DV but has a faster run speed for better
reliability. Video cameras such as the Sony PD150
and the Sony PD170 use DVCAM tape. Runtime of
these tapes varies from 40 minutes to 184 minutes
depending on whether you chose Mini DVCAM format
or full size.
DIGITAL
BETACAM: Has become the world-wide tape
standard for high quality, standard definition
broadcast video production. Its multi-generation
editing capability and ease of use is legendary.
Many television dramas are shot using Digital
Beta Cam.
For
more information about video tape formats please
go to DV or DVCAM.
